| History- Johnny
was born in the UK in 2150AD, his father was Nelson Kreelman, a
leader of South West Sector of New Britains and a fierce anti mutant
campaigner. Kreelman hid the fact that his son was a mutant confining
him to the house and making him wear goggles telling Johnny that
he had a serious eye complaint that could prove fatal if he exposed
his eyes to light. in a schoolyard skuffle Johnny's goggles where
knocked off and he used his mutant eyes to finish off the fight,
he ran in delight to tell his father to tell him that he was not
afflicted but had strange powers. His father was furious and imprissoned
him but Johnny escaped and at the age of twelve ran away to join
the Mutant Army rebelling against the establishment in the name
of Mutant rights. Johnny rapidly rose through the ranks and led
his first guerrilla raid at the age of fourteen and was soon second
in command of the whole unit. At this point in time Johnnys father
set up the Mutant Labour Camp program where Mutants were forced
into slave labour and forced to live in squalid conditions. In
retaliation the Mutant Army took control of the government but
where forced to surrender by Kreelman who threatened to kill one
hundred of the captive Mutants every hour until they did. The rebels
were senteced to death but were helped to escape by Johnny's sister
who then revealed to the prime minister the fact that Johhny, Kreelman's
son was in fact a Mutant . Kreelman was discredited and forced
to resign, the anti mutant laws were eased and Johnny was exiled
off planet. When the Galactic Crime Commission set up it's Search
/ Destroy agency of interplanetary bounty hunters, Johnny joined
up and the group became known as the Strontium Dogs. |
