| History-
Jesse left
his native reservation to work as a sky scraper construction
worker in New York. After an accident in which he fell from
a great height, he was left paralysed from the waist down. Whilst
in hospital after the accident, Jesse had a mystic vision, and
was transformed by the great Earth Spirit into Black Crow, the
protector of Native Americans. He went on to battle Captain
America to balance the wrongs done to his people by the
Americans, The Captain, realising the righteousness of his mission
surrendered to him and appeased the Indian Spirits. Jesse remains
paralysed and bound to a wheelchair in normal life, but when
he takes on the identity of Black Crow, he can walk and use
his mystic powers. |
