| History-
Kitty was
a normal teenage girl until she started suffering from headaches.
This was the beginning of her mutant powers being manifested
and Kitty joined the X- Men as their youngest member to help
learn to develop her powers. She became a worthy and respected
member of the team and forming a special friendship with Storm,
who she saw as a mother figure and colossus's little sister
Illyana her best friend. For a while Kitty and Colossus where
in love until he returned from the secret wars where he had
met and fallen in love with another. Kitty was badly injured
in an attack by the Marauders and could no longer control her
phasing power. She became a wraith and was fading away to nothing
but was saved by the combined intellect of Reed Richards and
Dr. Doom. Whilst she was recovering the X- Men supposedly died
in Dallas and kitty with fellow X- Man Nightcrawler was a founder
of the British team Excalibur. When Excalibur disbanded Kitty
and Nightcrawler returned to the X- Men |
