Marvel Comics on the Screen- Punisher live action movie 1989

Shot in Australia starring Dolf Lundgren in the title role, this is a dark and violent adaptation of Marvel's vigilante hero Frank Castle, who after his family are killed by the Mafia embarks on a bloody trail of retribution as the self styled judge, jury and executioner the Punisher. The film ignores Franks war vet past and technological expertise, portraying him as an ex cop presumed dead on a mission of vengeance.
