1. Being
up bright and early before the crack of dinner- time, Willie got
the urge to try the life of a gent in a tent. "He's up the pole," mumbled
Tim, carrying one. |

Willie Poked his finger in the river to see how wet it was and wondered
how he and his fat friend were to cross. "We'll never get over
this, Tim old trout," tootled he. |

Biff! "And you won't get over that in a hurry!" quoth Tim,
as a proper goal- getting sort of goat scored off Willie with a neat
header. just watch our Willie go! |

On the other side, he clicked his teeth and snapped his fingers crossly. "Come
on Tim," he called out. "Don't stand around looking as
useful as toothache. Get busy!" |

"Aha! I am responsible for a super brainwave, old top."
answered Timothy. "I can truthfully say it's all my own vault." And
to prove it, he pole- vaulted the fluid.
